THERON DEROSIER'S MIND...
In Spring 2008, I entered into a collaborative thought process with staff at WSU's CTLT center, a place where I received much technical support for developing an on-line presence.
Theron Desrosier (CTLT staff) assisted me in numerous research and academic pursuits to the will of Indigenous Peoples' Principles.
A fraction of what we accomplished is published on numerous sites, some linked to this site, on the right-hand bar.
During this process, Theron and his CTLT colleagues discussed certain aspects of my project a community-based endeavor geared toward the empowerment of Indigenous women's strategies against western legal thought, systems and institutions along the U.S.-Mexico International Boundary, specifically, relevant to Nde' and Nnee' (Apache) women's still undergrounded histories in colonization--both past and present.
This photo of Theron's 'white board' ''tracking' is a tiny fraction of his communications to his peers about the productivities of Indigenous women researchers' capacities across both 'known' and undergrounded knowledge systems. What has been called 'the Indiginet' by a micro circle of Indigenous researchers.
I include this here as an instructive 'glance' for Indigenous researchers...into the complicated terrain of engaging in collaborations with non-Indigenous polities.
